I think the movie “Ferris Bueller’s day off” had a big impact on my generation. I remember reading an article on esquire magazine about how Brad Pitt used to check into hotels under the name Abe Froman. Remember Abe Froman? The sausage king of Chicago. Also, remember how Ferris Bueller pretended to be sick in that movie? And there was a big blimp with “SAVE FERRIS” on it. The students all pitched in to buy him flowers and etc. God i wish i was like Ferris Bueller.

Anyway, i was wondering if the Rock Bank, Save Ferris was named that because of “Ferris Bueller’s day off?” I think so, but i’m not for certain. I’m sure i could do some searches online but it’s hard to find info like this sometimes because of all the junk out there on the web.
